The secrets and crown jewels of Rosenborg Castle
Rosenborg is located in the center of Copenhagen. For 400 years it has been the home of Danish kings and queens’ most precious treasures. The castle was originally built in 1606-1607 as a summerhouse by order of Christian IV.The rooms and halls testify to pomp and pageantry, but also to peculiarities, secrets, and a view of the world which was in some ways like ours, and in others very different.

Christiansborg and the castle Island
Christiansborg Palace lies on Slotsholmen (Castle Island) in the middle of Copenhagen. The Queen, the Danish parliament and the office of the Danish prime minister all operate from within the confines of the palace. When the royal family is not using Christiansborg Palace, it is possible to visit the palace on a guided tour or on your own. The palace has five attractions to visit: The Royal Reception Rooms with The Great Hall and the Queen's tapestries, The Royal Stables, The Royal Kitchen, The Ruins under the palace and Christiansborg Palace Chapel.
